ISLAMABAD:The statements of witnesses could not be recorded in audio leak case against former Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur due to his non availability.

The audio leak case came up for hearing in district and sessions court Islamabad.

Raja Zahoor advocate counsel for Ali Amin Gandapur told the court his client has already been arrested.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till November 27.

The case was heard by additional district and sessions judge Hakim Khan Bakhar.

Raja Zahoor advocate appeared on behalf of Ali Amin Gandapur.

Farooq who is nominated co-accused in the case was also present in the court.

Counsel Raja Zahoor took the plea in the case that Ali Amin Gandapur was to appear today in the court but he has already been arrested.

The counsel said if the court issues arrest warrants of his client today again then it will be of no use because according to him Ali Amin Gandapur is already under detention.

The proceedings of recording statements of witnesses could not move ahead due to non availability of Ali Amin Gandapur.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till November 27.

Audio leak case is registered against Ali Amin Gandapur in police station Golra Islamabad.

The legal proceedings is underway in the case and more progress is expected in the case on next hearing.
