Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic loss of precious lives and extensive damage caused by the recent floods in Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq extended heartfelt condolences and deep sympathies to the families who have lost their loved ones, as well as to all those affected by the calamity. He conveyed solidarity with the parliaments, governments, and peoples of the flood-hit countries during this difficult time.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized the urgent need for enhanced global cooperation to support relief and reconstruction efforts in the affected countries. He urged the international community to extend timely assistance to the flood-stricken nations to ensure their swift recovery and rehabilitation.

Highlighting that natural disasters are a manifest consequence of climate change, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq stressed the imperative of adopting a collective and coordinated global strategy to address its far-reaching impacts.
