Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while rejecting FIA plea for granting one week time to it for appointment of prosecutor in connection with bail plea of Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana-2 case has directed to appoint prosecutor till today (Thursday).Bail plea of Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana-2 case came up for hearing before Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb in IHC Wednesday.Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Arshid Mehmood Kiyani appeared in the court.Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb said he would not give adjournment in bail case. FIA authorities remained on rostrum.Barrister Suleman Safdar said reference of this case is filed in Accountability Court (AC) on July 19. Later the case goes to FIA with amendments. The petitioner filed bail plea during this period. Bail plea was also fixed with FIA.Counsel for Bushra Bibi said case goes to FIA court in September. Surprisingly F IA presents challan in court after two days. We remained too much disturbed from the side of special prosecutor. He adjourned it. Later the arguments are given and bail plea of Bushra Bibi is rejected.Barrister Suleman Safdar said in fact it is Bvlgari jewelry set case. It is alleged PTI founder as Prime Minister (PM) got the market price estimated highly low. It is alleged that Bulgari jewelry sets include necklace, ear rings, bracelets and ring. It is charged that PTI founder kept the gift with him which was given to the state without depositing it in Toshakhana.The counsel for Bushra Bibi said it is accused PTI founder got estimated the price of Bulgari set through his office secretary.The court directed FIA to keep on preparing notes as they will give reply.Counsel Suleman Safdar said Islamabad Toshakhana-2 case is similar to first reference . There are similar approvers and allegations in first and this reference. How can two cases be made of one Toshakhana. The accused are similar i n both of the cases. The case was enacted that gifts were received during May 7 to 9. The cost of Bulgari set was estimated at Rs 60 lac.The counsel for Bushra Bibi told the court set price was estimated at 5.8 million. Three persons including custom collector declared this estimated price correct. This set was purchased against the payment of Rs 2.9 million (approximately Rs 30 lac).Prosecution said loss was inflicted on national kitty by getting the price estimated less.The court adjourned hearing of bail plea of Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana-2 case till today (Thursday).
