Islamabad: Balochistan Bar Council has filed petition in Supreme Court (SC) against constitutional bench set up federal government under 26th constitutional amendment.Petition has been filed through lawyer Munir A Malik.The petition said establishment of Judicial Commission (JC) and its functioning under constitutional amendment be stopped.Federal and all the four provincial governments have been made respondents.The petition said members of assembly were forced to cast vote. House was not complete at the time of making amendment. Incomplete house cannot make constitutional amendment. 26th constitutional amendment runs contrary to basic constitutional structure and independence of judiciary. Incomplete parliament cannot make constitutional amendment. Earlier 26th constitutional amendment has been challenged. In this regard over 700 petitions have been filed in SC, Sindh High Court and different courts.
