Islamabad: Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb has said blue economy will serve as game changer for national economy.

He said this speaking virtually at the Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference 2025.

He held national economy is set on right direction. Blue economy can bring revolution in the economy.

He went on to say government is pursuing basic reforms agenda in economy. Basic reforms are must for fortified development.

He said solid steps have been taken for economic stability during two and a half years. Inflation and policy rate have witnessed a major decline. Three global rating agencies have praised economic steps taken by Pakistan.

He remarked Pakistan enjoys cooperation from friendly countries for stability of economy. Steps are being taken to modernize major ports of Karachi, Gawadar and Port Qasim .

There is the best harmony among ministries for development of economy. Finance ministry will extend every possible cooperation for economic stability.
