Islamabad: PTI chairman Barrister Gohar has claimed Bushra Bibi has been shifted to hospital.

As per media reports barrister Gohar said in a message on social media website X that last night it was told that Bushra Bibi was shifted to hospital.

Further details about treatment of Bushra Bibi are awaited. He should be informed in this regard.

" Last night I was informed through a message that Bushra Bibi had been shifted to hospital last night and that I would be briefed about the treatment. Awaiting that I would request meeting of family members with her. And also meeting of Khan Sab's family with him and that Khan Sab be shifted to the hospital for treatment.

The earlier, the better. It is their basic right according to law. Their health is too serious and every Pakistani is deeply concerned".

However, Shafi Jan special assistant to CM KP has said in a statement that the reports about health of Bushra Bibi are highly alarming. The negligence and silence of Punjab government over the matters of health and her shifting to hospital is regrettable.

He said Bushra Bibi is non political person. Punjab government attitude based on political victimization is not acceptable in any way.

He said that tactics of federal and Punjab governments to weaken Imran Khan have failed and will meet failure too in future.

Weakening Imran Khan is dream of federal and Punjab government which will never realize.

It may be mentioned that a 3-member doctors team had conducted detailed medical check up of eyes of Bushra Bibi two days before in Adiala jail.

Medical team comprised Dr Nadim Qureshi from Al-Shifa Hospital, Dr Muhammad Arif from PIMS and Dr Afaq from Holy Family hospital.

Sources said Bushra Bibi had complained about eyes problems and detailed check up was conducted in this regard.
