Cart pushers case: IHC orders MCI, CDA , traffic police to address cart pushers problem`

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered MCI, CDA and traffic police to address the problem of cart pushers in cart pushers case.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan took up the case for hearing Thursday.

Advocate Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali appeared on behalf of cart pushers.

MCI told the court MCI checks only their licenses.

Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan remarked this is not some legal thing but it is matter of coordination. CDA and MCI should coordinate each other so this issue does not arise.

Advoate Imaan Mazari argued this is not matter of interruption in traffic.

ImAan Mazari presented videos and pictures in USB in court.

She said what court has been told is wrong. This is not traffic issue. While it is not such matter. Money is demanded from them. When they don't pay then police lift them.

CDA counsel said court should give time. We will soon resolve this issue.

Advocate Imaan Mazari said when we contact them they give no reply.

Counsel for CDA said cart pushers should come with director DMA, MCI and we get resolve this problem.

IHC ordered MCI, CDA and traffic police to address the problem of cart pushers.

The respondents should present documents regarding settlement of the matter in court on next hearing.

The court adjourned hearing of the case for further one week.
