Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed establishment division and interior ministry to hold meeting with Assistant Attorney General (AAG) in the case against irrelevant persons working on posts of Patwaris in Islamabad.

The court has sought report in this regard till July 28.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani has remarked if work is not done and patwaris are asked about it then they say this is not policy.

He gave these remarks during hearing of the case against irrelevant persons working on posts of patwaris Thursday.

Deputy secretary of interior ministry said meeting was held about the case and rules were filed with establishment division.

Establishment division said rules draft of ministry of interior were returned with objections.

Interior ministry said case was returned by giving satisfactory reply to all the objections of establishment division.

The court inquired mandate of establishment division is under what law.

AAG said I will not give reply on any statement of establishment division or interior ministry. One week time is needed. I can inform the court after holding a meeting.

The court directed establishment division and interior ministry to hold meeting with AAG besides adjourning the hearing of the case till July 28.
