Case pertaining to protest in Faizabad against disqualification of PTI founder: Indictment proceedings deferred

Islamabad: The proceedings of indictment of the accused in case registered against them over protest in Faizabad against disqualification of PTI founder Imran Khan has once again been deferred.

The case came up for hearing before judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad.

Exemption plea filed by PTI leader Faisal Javed was approved during the hearing of the case.

Counsels Sardar Masroof Khan and Zahid Bashir Dar appeared on behalf of the accused persons in the court.

Judge Tahir Abbas inquired you appeared in the court on initiation of proceedings for declaring proclaimed offender twice. I will send you to jail today as there is no other solution than this.

The court approved interim bail plea of Amir Mehmood Kiyani against surety bonds of sum of Rs one lac on his appearance in the court.

The proceedings for declaring former deputy speaker Wasiq Abbasi proclaimed offender started.

The judge while issuing arrest warrants of absconding accused said stern action will be taken against those who don't appear next time among the accused .

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till April 23.
