Islamabad:Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has acquitted 67 accused persons for want of evidence in the cases registered against them during protest of a religious party in 2021.

Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain of ATC heard the case.

The court initiated the proceedings of proclaimed offender against the absent accused persons.

The defence counsel took the plea the accused are charged with causing damage to government property including violence. Prosecution has not provided evidence so far in regard to charges.

The case against the accused was registered in police station Shahzad Town.
