Lahore: A formal ceremony was held at the Capital City Police Headquarters to adorn 47 officers with their new ranks following their promotion to Sub-Inspector. DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar and SSP (Discipline) Asim Iftikhar Kamboh pinned the promotion badges on the officers. The promoted officers serve across various wings of Lahore Police.

During the ceremony, several officers, including Shaukat Ali, Muhammad Shafiq, Waheed Ahmed, Khadim Hussain, Tariq Hussain, Mushtaq Ahmed, Muhammad Akram, Sanaullah, Ahmed Yar and Imran Masih received their promotional ranks. Family members of the promoted officers also attended the event to celebrate their achievements.

CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana congratulated the officers and extended his best wishes,

emphasizing that promotion is a right of every officer and official. He reaffirmed the department's commitment to encouraging professional, hardworking and honest officers, urging them to perform their duties with dedication. "Police officers must work with a spirit of public service," he added.

DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar stated that the promoted officers must spare no effort in serving the public

and ensuring the protection of lives and property. He highlighted that delivering swift justice would strengthen public trust in the police force. He further urged the officers to embrace modern policing practices to provide immediate relief to the citizens.

The promoted officers pledged to utilize their abilities to serve and protect the public. The ceremony was also attended by DSP Kashif Dogar, DSP Development Mustafa Hassan and other relevant officials.
