Islamabad: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack near a police check post in Hangu, stating that SP Asad Zubair and other brave personnel have raised the nation's pride by sacrificing their lives for the cause of peace.

The Chairman said that the sacrifices of the police force further strengthen the nation's resolve and determination. 'Terrorists cannot shake our commitment through their cowardly acts,' he added, noting that the entire nation salutes the martyrs for their courage and dedication.

Chairman Gillani expressed deep sympathy and condolences with the families of the martyrs, saying that the nation stands united with them in their grief. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured personnel.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani reaffirmed his resolve that the unity among the police, security forces, and the people will be further strengthened to ensure lasting peace in the country.
