Islamabad: Chairman Senate has decided not to accept resignations of PTI senators in om standing committees for the time being.

As per media reports government has evolved strategy after tendering of resignations by PTI senators from standing committees.

As per government sources meetings of the standing committees will continue as usual despite the absence of PTI senators.

Perks and privileges to PTI senators as chairman committee will continue .

Chairman Senate has issued necessary orders to Senate Secretariat in this regard.

Sources said chairman Senate will obtain further guidelines from party leadership in connection with resignations of PTI senators.

Opposition conveners will preside over standing committees meetings in the absence of opposition members.

As per sources directives have been issued to Senators from government side to complete quorum in the standing committees meetings.
