Islamabad: Chairman Senate has rejected the disqualification reference against PTI senator Saifullah Abroo. The reference has been dismissed on technical basis.

As per media report the reference filed against senator Saifullah Abroo was carrying signature of parliamentary leader instead of party head which was against a basic technical condition under defection clause.

Signatures of the party head are compulsory on the reference filed for disqualification under defection clause.

Sources said technical irregularity was found in the disqualification reference filed against senator Saifullah Abroo. Due to it the reference was dismissed being non maintainable.
