Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of former Chief Minister of Punjab and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo.

Paying rich tribute to the late leader, the Chairman Senate said that Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo was a seasoned and visionary politician who rendered valuable services to the country. He noted that the deceased played a significant role in promoting democratic values, constitutionalism, and public welfare throughout his political career.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family, relatives, and party workers. He prayed that Almighty Allah may grant the departed soul a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestow patience and strength upon the family to bear this irreparable loss.
