Chairman Senate, MWL Secretary General Discuss Unity and Challenges Facing Muslim Ummah

Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani met with Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, at the Parliament House, Islamabad. The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest and the challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah.

Chairman Senate Gilani emphasized the significance of the Muslim World League's platform in promoting unity among Muslim nations and addressing their shared concerns. He lauded the MWL's efforts and the leadership of Dr. Al-Issa, noting that joint and coordinated strategies are essential to counter oppression and human rights violations faced by Muslims globally.

He stressed that mutual trust, cooperation, and solidarity among Muslim countries are key to strengthening their collective position and enhancing the Ummah's role in global peace and stability.

The MWL Secretary General, Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, described his visit to Pakistan as highly significant and thanked the Chairman Senate for the warm hospitality. He reaffirmed the League's commitment to strengthening ties with Pakistan and promoting a unified Muslim voice at international forums.
