Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has paid rich tribute to the Security Forces for successfully eliminating 19 Indian-sponsored terrorists in a major counter-terrorism operation conducted in Orakzai.

The Chairman Senate commended the bravery, professionalism, and unwavering commitment of the forces, expressing deep reverence for Lieutenant Colonel Junaid, Major Tayyab, and nine soldiers who embraced martyrdom during the courageous operation. He said the entire nation takes immense pride in the sacrifices of its brave sons who have laid down their lives for the motherland.

Expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani said that their sacrifices will forever be remembered and honored. He also prayed for the swift and complete recovery of the injured soldiers.

The Chairman Senate emphasized that by risking their lives, the officers and soldiers have once again foiled the nefarious designs of the terrorists and safeguarded national security. He reiterated that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with its Security Forces in the collective mission to eradicate terrorism.
