Lahore: Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority, Ms. Hina Parvez Butt, met with an Indian woman who was allegedly brought to Pakistan from Dubai by her husband and was facing threats from him. Ms. Hina Parvez Butt assured the woman of complete justice and directed the authorities to take all necessary measures for her protection. Meanwhile, an important meeting was held between Ms. Hina Parvez Butt and CEO Health, Zohaib, to discuss the transformation of Filter Hospital into a crisis center. The initiative aims to provide immediate medical and psychological support to women in distress, ensuring swift assistance in emergency situations. Additionally, a delegation from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) met with Ms. Hina Parvez Butt to strengthen mutual cooperation in women's protection and welfare. Both parties emphasized the need for joint efforts to eliminate violence against women and safeguard their rights.
