Islamabad: Chief Commissioner Islamabad has filed review petition against Supreme Court (SC) order for shifting Imran Khan to Shifa International hospital. Chief Commissioner has taken plea in his petition that a clear procedure lies there in jail rules 1976 for shifting any prisoner to hospital. But these rules were ignored in SC decision a day before .

It has . been said in the petition giving order against the rule 197 of Pakistan Prison Rules 1978 is clear legal flaw available on record. Article 10-A guarantees for equitable trial. While order was issued in this case without issuing notice to respondents.

The stance was adopted that the court issued interim order one sided while adjourning serious legal point regarding maintainability of the petition. It was said in the petition relief of final nature cannot be given at interim stage.

It is pertinent to mention here SC had ordered a day before to shift Imran Khan to Al-Shifa hospital Islamabad till next hearing in the case related to meeting of his sisters and others with Imran Khan and access of his personal doctors to him.
