Peshawar: Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Shahab Ali Shah, paid an official visit to Kohat, where he chaired a high-level meeting to review law and order, development projects, and public service delivery in southern districts.
The meeting, attended by Acting IGP Muhammad Ali Baba Khel, Commissioner Syed Motasim Billah Shah, and senior divisional officers, reviewed performance reports from districts including Kurram and Orakzai.
The Chief Secretary reaffirmed the government's commitment to peace, good governance, and inclusive development, directing officials to hold regular public forums and enhance citizen engagement. He warned that no negligence or obstruction in public service and development will be tolerated.
He appreciated law enforcement agencies for restoring stability in previously sensitive regions and urged continued inter-agency coordination. The visit reflects the provincial government's proactive governance and renewed focus on southern district uplift.
