Islamabad: District and Sessions Court Islamabad has handed over Sohaib Ali Pasha sub inspector of Islamabad police arrested on charges of child abuse and violence to FIA on two days physical remand.

The accused was presented in the court by FIA on completion of 3-days physical remand Monday.

The accused was presented before Ahmad Shahzad Gondal, judicial magistrate FIA police station.

FIA requested for further 5 days physical remand of the accused.

Investigation officer told the court the accused has disclosed during investigation about keeping children in his custody. The accused kept children in illegal custody but he kept them inside the police station. More investigation has to be made from him. 5 days physical remand of the accused be given.

On the plea of investigation officer the court approved further two days physical remand of the accused.

Case against the accused is registered in FIA under torture and custodial act and CRPC.
