Islamabad: Council for Islamic Ideology (CII) has declared impositoin of withholding tax on withdrawal of money from banks against the sharia.

According to CII , withholding tax is tantamount to injustice. Council be also included in legislation with reference to human milk.

CII opposed the clauses of amendment in Diyat law. CII said it does not agree with the bill presented for amendment in Diyat law.

Sharia- compliant quantities related to gold, bronze and camel should be kept included in law. Silver has been excluded and non- sharia quantity of gold has been made as standard.
