Quetta: Chief Justice Balochistan High Court (BHC) has taken stern notice of murder of a man and a woman in the name of honor in the area of Sanjri Degari Balochistan besides summoning additional chief secretary interior and IG Police in the court on July 22.

Judicial magistrate Quetta has ordered for exhumation of grave of the woman killed in the incident.

The process of exhumation of grave is underway in the presence of judicial magistrate in the light of court's orders so that the evidence could be made secure.

According to police the scope of investigation has been widened and 20 accused have been arrested so far. The major accused who opened firing is also among the arrested persons. The case has been registered with police.

It is pertinent to mention here a video had become viral on social media wherein a man and women were being gunned down in the name of honor. A severe reaction surfaced up from social, political circles and people after the video went viral on social media. . Chief Minister Balochistan had taken serious notice of the incident.
