CM Internship Programme has great significance for the development of talented youth: Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial

Lahore: Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has presided over an important meeting to review the progress of Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme and development sports schemes at the Punjab Stadium on Tuesday.

It was decided in the meeting to engage maximum number of youth in the Chief Minister Punjab Internship Programme. Besides this, on-going sports schemes, construction of new sports facilities in Nishtar Park Sports Complex and grounds were also discussed in the meeting.

Director General Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab KhizarAfzaalChaudhry, Additional Secretary Sports MianUsman Ali, Director Admin Dr M Kaleem and other officials attended the key meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial has directed the officers concerned to give maximum facilities to internship candidates. 'Our youths have been blessed with plenty of talent and Chief Minister Internship Programme has great significance for the development of talented youth of the province'.

Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial further said that our talented youth will be able to play a vital role in the development of our country using the platform of Chief Minister Internship Programme. He directed the officers concerned to resolve all kinds of issues including cards delivery problems and invalid address etc was faced by the internees immediately.

Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Muzaffar Khan Sial said that 16 schemes out of 27 sports schemes will be completed in February. He directed to complete the rest of the sports schemes as early as possible in different parts of the province. 'Swimming pool in Rawalpindi and other sports schemes have been completed in Rahim Yar Khan while ShafiqChishti Stadium will be completed by the end of February in Sahiwal,' he informed.
