Islamabad: Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur has said there is severe threat to life of PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, therefore, petition has been filed for his release.
Talking to media men outside Islamabad High Court (IHC) here Friday he said PTI founder is leader of Muslim Ummah and I hope justice will be provided to us.
He said request has always been made to the courts to take action against those who don't comply with their orders . There is no law in place in the country. We have to knock doors meant for justice.
He held participation in the meeting of national security is possible after his meeting with PTI founder. Imran Khan is our leader and I have to meet him in Adiala jail to seek directives from him.
He underlined Imran Khan has always raised voice against Modi brutalities and Modi too knows Imran Khan is in Adiala jail. Any thing can be expected from Modi.
Later CM KP filed petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in connection with release of Imran Khan on parole.
He got done biometric verification for filing petition in IHC.
Ali Amin Gandapur has filed petition through Latif Khosa and Shahbaz Khosa. Through the petition request has been made for releasing Imran Khan on parole.
According to petition Pakistan is facing aggression from Indian government. There is threat to life of PTI founder in jail due to drone attacks in different cities.
Modi can see central jail Adiala as important target for drone attack. When PTI founder was Prime Minister (PM) then Modi had to face humiliation at international level.
Ali Amin Gandapur took the plea basic rights of PTI founder are being affected for his long imprisonment due to politically motivated cases instituted against him.
Remedy of release on parole is there in constitution to avoid such imprisonment. PTI Founder assures that he will adhere to conditions related to release on parole.
According to petitioner threat is there for deterioration of his health condition due to long imprisonment. We gave application to secretary home department Punjab in this regard but no action was taken. PTI founder has not violated prison rules during his imprisonment in jail
