Lahore: Valerie Hickey Global Director for Climate Change at the World Bank has declared Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz climate change warrior and climate leader.

While talking to CM Punjab during meeting Valerie Hickey said Maryam Nawaz Sharif has emerged as climate change warrior in South Asia.

World bank while inviting Punjab government to participate in global environment market assured it of its cooperation as well.

Valerie Hickey while talking to Maryam Nawaz said they are ready for cooperation in the projects of Suthra Punjab, AQI, Transport, forests, wild life.

She exchanged views with CM Punjab regarding climate betterment. She appreciated the climate friendly steps and spirit of Maryam Nawaz.

She appreciated the points of Maryam Nawaz speech.

CM Punjab thanked Valerie Hickey for her sentiments and appreciation.

Provincial ministerS Maryam Aurangzeb, Rana Sikandar, Zeeshan Rafiq and chief secretary Punjab were also present in the meeting.
