COAS General Syed Asim Munir denies receiving any letter from Imran Khan

Islamabad: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir denied receiving any letter from former premier and PTI founder Imran Khan on Thursday.

Speaking informally to journalists at a luncheon hosted in honour of the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the Prime Minister's House by PM Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, COAS General Syed Asim Munir said, "I have not received anyone's letter. Even if I do, I won't read it. I will forward it to the prime minister."

The army chief said, 'All talk about the letter is just a tactic, and he has not received any such letter'.

The army chief maintained that he would forward any such communication to the prime minister if he received it.

COAS General Syed Asim Munir maintained that the country was progressing satisfactorily and Pakistan was on the path of development. 'Pakistan is moving forward and Pakistan has to move forward,' the army chief added.

The army chief highlighted that Pakistan is progressing well and reiterated his commitment to the country's development and stability.
