Khanewal: Railways minister Hanif Abbasi has taken notice of collapse of passenger bridge portion at Khanewal railway station and suspended 3 railway officers.

Railway minister while directing to take stern action against the responsible persons has suspended divisional engineer Abid Razzaq grade-18 , Assistant Engineer Raja Yousuf grade-17and inspector Muhammad Adil of grade-16 forthwith.

Railway minister has constituted committee immediately comprising CEO Railway, IG Railway and DS Lahore.

Chief Executive Officer Amir Ali Baloch has left for Khanewal in this regard.
