Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Committee for the Development and Management of the Hazrat Bari Imam Shrine.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Railways, SAPM to DPM Office, Interior Secretary, Lt Gen (Retd) Afzal Janjua, Raja Sarfraz Akram, Gauhar Zahid Malik, Sohail Iqbal Bhatti, Iman Rabbani, Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Deputy Commissioner Islamabad.

The DPM/FM appreciated the commitment of the members of the committee for the preservation and development of this very significant spiritual shrine.

The Committee decided to hold the 'Chadar Poshi' Ceremony' on 7th August 2025 and the 'Urs Mubarak' of Hazrat Bari Imam Sarkar will be celebrated from 8th to 10th August 2025.

The DPM directed to constitute a sub-committee headed by Railways Minister to oversee the upkeep, maintenance, and the construction work of the Shrine, ensuring its preservation and continued reverence.
