Islamabad: Condolence visits continued at the residence of senior Hurriyat leader Altaf Ahmed Bhat in Islamabad following the demise of his mother. People from all walks of life, including political leaders, social activists, members of the Kashmiri community, journalists, business figures, religious scholars, and civil society representatives, visited to express their sympathies and solidarity with the bereaved family.

The attendees offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul, expressing deep sorrow over the loss. They conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Altaf Ahmed Bhat and said they stand with him and his family in this moment of grief.

The deceased passed away in Srinagar, Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, after a prolonged illness.

On the occasion, Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization and wife of incarcerated Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, visited the residence and expressed profound grief. She extended her condolences to the family and prayed for the elevation of the departed soul. She remarked that the pain of being separated from loved ones during such difficult times is beyond words, particularly for families divided due to the prevailing situation in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Chairman of the United Jihad Council, Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, also visited and expressed deep sorrow over the demise. He offered prayers for the deceased, asking Allah Almighty to grant her the highest place in Jannah.

Among those who visited were Raja Abrar Minhas, Muhammad Rafiq Dar, Mahmood Ahmad Sagar, Umar Farooq, Tariq Chaudhry, Rana Kausar Ali, Haji Muhammad Nawaz Raza, Aqeel Ahmed Tareen, Sardar Shaukat, former Mayor Rawalpindi Sardar Naseem Khan, Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman, Sheikh Athar, Raja Fazil, Member Provincial Assembly Raja Hanif Advocate, Ishtiaq Gilani (Senior Civil Registrar), Ishtiaq Abbasi, and Ghulam Murtaza (Secretary Human Rights), along with a large number of other prominent personalities.

The participants collectively prayed that Allah Almighty grants the departed soul the highest rank in Jannah and bestows patience and strength upon the bereaved family.
