Islamabad: Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry advocate has filed constitutional petition in Islamabad High Court (IHC) against not getting signed power of attorney by Imran Khan in Adiala Jail.

As per media reports Superintendent Adiala jail, IG Jails Punjab and superintendent police Saddar circle Rawalpindi have been made respondents in the petition. The jail authorities have been alleged of negligence and hampering legal process.

According to lawyer Khalid Yusuf Chaudhry there are hundreds of cases of Imran Khan and legal representation is feared to be affected.

Taking the stance of violation of articles 4, 9, 10 -A, 14 and 15 of constitution the court has been requested for ordering to obtain immediate signatures and to provide the documents .

The court has also been requested to issue directives for providing to the lawyer uninterrupted access to the prisoner.

It has also been requested to initiate legal proceedings against superintendent jail.
