Islamabad: Consultation has been started between government and opposition over appointment of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and two members of Election Commission (EC).

As per media report an important meeting of opposition was held in the chamber of leader of the opposition Raja Nasir Abbas. The meeting was attended by Mehmood Khan Achakzai, barrister Gohar and Suleman Akram Raja.

Detailed consultation was made with reference to PTI September 27 protest. PTI was asked to make full fledged preparations for protest.

It was decided to call All Parties Conference (APC) by contacting all parties. Meeting of Tehreek-e-Tahaffaz Pakistan will be held on September 15 and the preparations for APC will be reviewed.
