ISLAMABAD:Member state CDA, Zaman Wattoo will be indicted on November 12 in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in contempt of court case for giving wrong statement in the court.

The court rejected urgent plea for unconditional apology by Zaman Wattoo.

Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar has said you don't take the respect and dignity of the courts seriously. it should not be understood here that we are acting as any one's B team. It should not be understood that we will say all OK what the government says.

The court has directed the prosecutor for making preparations of the case besides appearing before it on November 12.

CJ IHC Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar remarked " your attitude is bulldozing court's order. It is understood here that the other people should be kept waiting for hours and man in suit and tie gets heard within ten minutes.

CJ IHC Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar remarked during the hearing of the case " you don't take the respect and dignity of court seriously. It should not be understood here we are sitting here as any one's B team. When case is fixed for hearing in the court of chief justice then this is senior court. "One must be present in court when the case is called and the hearing begins."

He remarked I have no grudge against any one. The day this order was to be passed, he said he is not well. But he appeared in other court by saying here he is not well.

You performed 60 years service. You don't know which court is big court. You should have come here and requested to seek time. But you did not bother and preferred to appear in other court.

Kashif Ali Malik counsel for Zaman Wattoo said we tender unconditional apology.

However CJ IHC remarked the apology matter will be seen later.

Nazir Jawad counsel for CDA requested the court some time be given. We will appear on next hearing with preparations.

Member State CDA Zaman Wattoo while tendering apology to the court said we respect court and even cannot think of contempt of court.

The CJ IHC remarked it is not matter of regret. This is straight contempt of court matter.

Prosecutor Adnan Ali told the court he has not tendered apology in the reply. In such case, contempt of court proceedings start and one is indicted before it.

The CJ IHC Sarfraz Dogar while directing the prosecutor who is appointed in the case to make preparations for the case maintained indictment will be framed in next week.

Hearing of the case was adjourned till November 12 .
