Peshawar: Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi has said he was not allowed to meet Imran Khan in Adiala jail despite court's orders.
" I went there with taking court's orders two to three times but I was not allowed to meet my Quaid. Superintendent Adiala jail is ignoring court's orders. However he cannot hold gun or stick. I will pursue the path set by constitution and state, he said this while addressing All Pakistan Lawyers jirga here.
It is responsibility of judiciary itself to get implement court's orders, he said adding Imran Khan cases are not being fixed for hearing. Some persons want to raise voice in judiciary but they don't enjoy full support. Injustice is being perpetrated with Imran Khan and one political party persistently. What is being done with him today, it can be done with some one else too in future, he remarked.
He went on to say cases of PTI founder are fixed on April 22. If lawyers support then justice can be sought.
As per media reports, he warned if cases of former Prime Minister (PM) are not fixed till May 5 then country wide pen down strike will be observed on May 6.
Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan is a non political person. But she is not being given any relief despite being sick.
