Gujranwala: Judge Muhammad Saeed Rafiq of Anti Corruption Court Gujranwala has approved bail of arrested PTI MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmad from Mandi Baha ud Din in one case and rejected his bail plea in second case.

As per media report Jailed PTI MNA is facing cases of tempering in record and awarding tenders of government schemes related to public health engineering to favorite contractors by receiving commission.

The bail after arrest plea of PTI MNA Haji Imtiaz Ahmad was dismissed in the case wherein he was alleged to change date of birth of his son Adil Imtiaz in the record in connivance with chairman Union Council Manzoor Hussain and others and he obtained result cards of his son from the Education Board of different dates. The motive behind it was to field his son as candidate in Local Bodies Polls.

The court approved bail plea of Haji Imtiaz Ahmad against surety bond worth Rs one lac in anti corruption case that he got allotted 5 development schemes of millions of rupees pertaining to Health Engineering department Mandi Baha ud Din to his favorite contractors by taking commission from them.
