Rawalpindi: Court has awarded punishment to 82 workers of PTI in the cases related to November 24 and November 26 protest.
Judge Amjid Ali Shah of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has announced major decision in November 24 and 26 protest cases. Court has awarded punishment to PTI 82 workers.
The court indicted all present accused in 24 cases.
During the hearing punishment equal to stay in jail was announced for 82 workers who pleaded guilty.
The court ordered that the period spent in jail by 82 workers who have pleaded guilty shall count as sentence served.
The court did not impose fine on any accused.
The witnesses have been summoned on next hearing against the accused who have not pleaded guilty.
It is pertinent to mention here 15 cases related to May 24 and 26 incidents are registered in district Attock and 9 cases are registered in Rawalpindi.
Hearing of 8, 8 cases related to May 26 protest is fixed on May, 7, 8 and 9.
