Islamabad: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has confirmed bail of Opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Omar Ayub in all 9 cases registered against him in connection with October 4 protest.
ATC Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain heard bail before arrest pleas of Omar Ayub in 9 cases registered against him on October 4 protest.
PTI leader appeared in the court along with his counsels Sardar Muhammad Masroof, Amna Ali and others.
The record of the case could not be presented by investigation officer. The court expressed resentment over it.
Judge Abul Hasnat said is he made of iron. Even record does not come. When asked for record then some time some pretext, some time pretext of duty on protest is presented. If record does not come within 20 minutes then I will decide on bail pleas.
Prosecutor said the investigation officer has to bring record. He has not come so far.
Judge said he comes like Lords. I am not his servant.
The court confirmed bail of Omar Ayub in all 9 cases. The court approved bail pleas against surety bonds of Rs 5000 each.
It is pertinent to mention here cases against Omar Ayub are registered in police stations Shahzad Town, Tarnol, Kohsar No 3, Noon 2, Aabpara and police station Margalla.
