Court expresses resentment over non appearance of the accused Ansar Kiyani in violence against Khawar Manik case

Islamabad: The court has expressed severe resentment over non appearance of the accused Ansar Kiyani in violence against Khawar Manika during hearing of Nikkah during iddat case in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra of ATC Islamabad took up the case for hearing

Arguments could not take place on the petition filed by Naeem Haider Panjutha and Usman Riaz with reference to terrorism clauses.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra while expressing resentment remarked if Ansar Kiyani does not appear today then arrest warrants will be issued and surety bonds will also be confiscated.

There can not be a separate law for common man and a different law for lawyer.

Judge Tahir Abbas remarked we are placed on 126 number due to such things. If arguments don't take place on next hearing then I will give decision on the petition by seeing the record.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till May 12.

Violence against Khawar Manika is registered against PTI lawyers in police station Ramna.
