Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has given time to Rawalpindi police till October 16 to recover minor children of US national Pakistan citizen woman who are missing since last four months.

The case filed by mother for recovery of her minor children came up for hearing before Justice Muhammad Asif of IHC Wednesday.

During the hearing of the case Justice Muhammad Asif remarked sufficient time has already been given to police and now the court will issue order.

Mother of children eyes became wet. She told the court despite lapse of four months neither she has met her children and nor have the children been recovered.

She took the plea she has informed the police several time that children are present in Wah Cantt and the information about their coming and going are too available. However police is not cooperating.

Police officer told the court raids were conducted at B-17 and Wah Cantt but children and their father could not be recovered.

Police officer further said if the woman files application against his father in law and brother of her husband then early recovery of children can become possible.

Justice Muhammad Asif while addressing to the counsel of petitioner said he should file application. Court is giving two weeks time.

Assistant Attorney General assured the court efforts are underway for recovery of the children.

The court made it clear time has been given earlier too. Now order will be issued after two weeks.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till October 16.
