Court issues non bailable arrest warrants of Ali Amin Gandapur in arms, liquor recovery case

Islamabad: Non bailable arrest warrants of Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur has been issued in arms and liquor recovery case. The exemption plea of Ali Amin Gandapur was rejected in the court of civil judge Islamabad.

The statement under 342 could not be filed due to absence of Ali Amin Gandapur in the court.

Senior civil judge Islamabad Mubashar Hassan Chishti expressed resentment over absence of Ali Amin Gandapur and non filing of statement under 342.

The court while rejecting exemption plea of Ali Amin Gandapur issued his arrest warrants.

Defence counsel took the plea during the hearing of the case his client could not appear due to his engagement.

The court while rejecting the stance moved ahead the proceedings.

The court remarked the persistent absence of the accused is hindering court process. Therefore, non bailable arrest warrants are being issued so that the accused could be presented in the court.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till July 19.
