Islamabad: Court has upheld arrest warrants of former Prime Minister (PM) AJK Sardar Tanvir Ilyas due to lack of progress in diplomatic passport case.

The case came up for hearing in district and sessions court Islamabad.

The court maintained the arrest warrants of former PM AJK Sardar Tanvir Ilyas.

No progress could be made in the case due to non availability of judicial magistrate Ahmad Shahzad Gondal Monday.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till December 8.

It is pertinent to mention here FIA has registered case against Sardar Tanvir Ilyas.

Earlier court had issued arrest warrants of Sardar Tanvir Ilyas in this case and ordered to arrest and present him .
