Lahore: Special Central Court (SCC) Lahore has ordered to take steps again for arresting former federal minister Moonis Elahi.

The court ordered steps be taken again for arresting Moonis Elahi.

The court ordered that steps be initiated again for arresting Moonis Elahi and Muhammad Jibran from abroad. The report regarding steps related to arrest be presented in the court on next hearing.

It was said in written order JIT head did not appear in the court being in Saudi Arabia for performance of Umrah.

Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi filed acquittal plea.

The court issued notice on acquittal plea and sought reply from the respondents.

Hearing of the case was adjourned till January 20.
