Rawalpindi: The court has rejected new plea from counsels of Imran Khan to adjourn the GHQ attack case .

The case came up for hearing in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) led by judge Syed Amjid Ali Shah here Saturday.

Statements of 3 prosecution witnesses were recorded.

The court rejected the plea of defence counsels for adjournment of case.

Notice was issued to prosecution on the application of defence counsels for summoning 8 witnesses again.

The court while adjourning the hearing of the case till September 30 summoned last 3 witnesses on next hearing.

71 witnesses were declared irrelevant.

Statements of 44 witnesses have been recorded and cross questioning in regard to 13 witnesses could not be conducted so far.
