Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected the petition with fine seeking restoration of students union.
The court imposed fine of Rs 10000 on the petitioner directing him to deposit fine in the clinic of SHC.
During the hearing of the case justice Adnan ul Karim Memon remarked why they want restoration of students union. Education sector is already ruined. Why do you want to destroy it more.
The court inquired what is objective and benefit of the restoration of students union.
The counsel for the petitioner took the plea students union is aimed at providing representation to the students in policy making.
Justice Adnan ul Karim while giving further remarks said the way there is union in factories. Do the students want to threaten the vice chancellor.
The court also raised this question what is the present status of the petitioner. Is he still a student too.
The court remarked the documents pertaining to 2021 are attached in the case file
The petitioner could not give any reply to it.
The court while rejecting the petition slapped fine on the petitioner.
