Court rejects PTI founder plea for making contact with his sons on whats app

RAWALPINDI: Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has rejected petition of PTI founder Imran Khan nominated in May 9 cases for making contact with his sons on whats app.The court has rejected the plea in the light of report from jail administration.The court had sought reply from the jail administration on petition of former chairman PTI.The jail administration took the plea in its reply as per jail manual no law is in place in respect of meeting of any accused with his relatives on whats app. On the other hand as per court's orders the meeting of the accused with his sons is arranged twice in a month.The court rejected the plea for talks with his sons by the accused on whats app once in a week.Former chairman PTI had taken plea in his petition the petitioner is former Prime Minister (PM) who has rendered enormous services in sports, health, politics and development of the country. The jail administration is hindrance in the meeting between the petitioner and his s ons. Despite court's repeated permission the petitioner is allowed to use whats app for very limited time.
