Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to PHA and others on the petition filed against cutting trees in Nasir Bagh.

Justice Shahid Karim of LHC took up for hearing miscellaneous petition filed by Azhar Siddique for prevention of smog.

The petitioner took the plea trees have been cut in Nasir Bagh despite court's orders. Earlier Banyan tree tree was cut in cantt.

The petition said apology is tendered always after cutting the trees. The court should order to take action against those involved in cutting the trees.

The court adjourned further proceedings on the petition till December 05.
