Islamabad:Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and discussed the evolving regional situation.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region and welcomed the encouraging progress towards an understanding between the United States and Iran.
They expressed hope that the positive developments would contribute to lasting peace, security and stability in the region. Both foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact regarding future developments and regional matters of mutual interest.
