Islamabad: FBR has extended date for filing Sales tax returns in respect of June 2025. According to notification August 8 has been fixed new date for filing sales tax returns. It will be compulsory to deposit payable sales tax within stipulated period. According to FBR, the decision to extend date was taken under section 74 of sales tax act.

The date for filing federal excise tax return has been extended till August 08, 2025. According to notification directives have been issued to chief commissioners, LTOs, MTOs and RTOs. According to FBR last date for filing return was announced July 18 earlier and then it was extended upto August 4. FBR has changed the date for third time and new date has been fixed August 8.
