Gilgit-baltistan: Date for Gilgit-Baltistan (G.B) assembly election has been formally announced.
According to notification issued by Election Commission (EC) June 7, 2026 has been fixed for election in respect of GB assembly.
Chief Election Commissioner Raja Shahbaz Khan while making formal announcement for date of election in respect of GB Assembly said these elections will be held under Elections Act -2017 and GB order -2018. All the arrangements will be completed in accordance with relevant laws.
The notification issued by election commission has been sent for publication in Pakistan Gazette.
