Islamabad: On the occasion of the Day of Arafah, Qudsia Namus, head of the Jamaat-e-Islami Women's Wing in Islamabad, said in her message that the Day of Arafah is a day of devotion, repentance, self-accountability, and renewing one's connection with Allah. She said this occasion calls on us to bow before our Lord, seek forgiveness for our sins, and commit to aligning our lives with the teachings of Islam.

She said that the Jamaat-e-Islami Women's Wing, Islamabad, has been organizing Qur'an lessons, intellectual gatherings, and training sessions since the beginning of Dhul-Hijjah to raise awareness among women about the spiritual and practical significance of these blessed days.

Qudsia Namus stated that the Muslim Ummah is currently going through a period of trial, particularly the oppressed Muslims of Gaza who are facing extreme violence, starvation, and bombings. She appealed to members and all believers to offer special prayers on the Day of Arafah for the people of Gaza - for their support, protection, and freedom - and to earnestly plead with Allah on their behalf.

She further emphasized that we must not confine this day to personal worship alone but spend it with a renewed commitment to collective awakening and playing an active role in the establishment of the Islamic system.

On this occasion, she reaffirmed the commitment of Jamaat-e-Islami Women's Wing, Islamabad, to continue its efforts for promoting religious awareness and Islamic values in society.
